i have an 85 4runner and i want to put a 350 in it but i dont know what parts i need or what kind of 350 will work. can anyone give me a parts list or give me a link to what i need and also what year 350 will fit my truck?

 

First I would say that is a good choice as long as you are aware of what your getting into it's quite a bit of work. All 350 are about the same demensions so as long as it clears the fender wells and fire wall you should be good there. You will have a lot of work cut out for you though re arranging engine mounts and making sure your steering will not be interfered with there are a few companies around that make conversion kits wich is basically a bell housing adapter if you plan on using your yota tranny

 

All SBC's are the same dimensions on the outside. Within the same generation of course.
There are several companies that supply parts for this swap. Search for build threads with swapping in a SBC for ideas on what to do.
