Chevota done right, Tacoma WA, $6500
1985 Toyota 4x4, $6500, in Tacoma WA. with a fully functional professionally converted motor and trans. Conversion is even cleaner in person than it looks in the pictures! I drive this truck 3-4 days a week for the last 3 years!! it is a proven daily driver.
1998 Chevy 4.3L V-6 fully fuel injected. 70K miles total, 20K since conversion.
4L60-E trans. shift kit, kevlar band, servos, beast sun shell, hd clutches, TCC lockup, ect
toyota 23 spline 4.7:1 transfer case, mated with advanced adapters. I will throw in 2.8:1 23 spline gears also.
rebiult wide rear end with 4.11 gears and a e-locker.
Spacers on the front wheels
big conversion radiator
oil cooler
trans cooler
new interior
newer bfg 33x9.5x15 tires
The bad:
E-locker installed in the rear end but not wired in.(I also have an extra E-locker that comes with the truck for the front or a spair.)
One birfield joint in clicking on the front end
Original paint is not in the best shape
This thing was built as a trailer runner/ daily driver, so it has a fairly stiff ride. It rides smooth with 1000 lbs in the bed.
It came from Arizona and has had the canopy one it since it was new, so it does not have the rust problem
It gets about 19 MPG on the freeway and about 18 in town. I has the best parts assembled correctly. I hate to sell, but I looking for something easier to put dirtbikes in the back of.

The picture does not do justice. The install is very clean. I go to car shows all the time and my install in cleaner than any other Toyota I have ever looked at. If anyone wants more pictures of it email me directly.
