wts 91 xcab sas 3.4 Seattle, wa $5800
So I recently picked up a 1970 fj40, and the misses won't let me keep both. I'm willing to travel within reason to show this truck, and I can pretty much guarantee you it will make it back to your house wherever that may be.
I'm posting this from my phone so check my cl ad for pics until I can get home and get them up
Thanks for checking this out have a good one

Here's the scoop
Bought in 2012 with 3.4 already installed. Had ifs and some 33s on it and a booger welded exhaust leak @ the header. I never fixed the leak. I've put about 10k or less on the truck since I bought it, and the engine had around 80k or so.
I took the ifs off and had a professional put an 85 axle under the front, trussed it up and went on my merry way... what I didn't understand was that I couldn't use stock length Toyota Springs when doing the swap - you have to use trail gears 47" long front leafs or it throws everything off balance. What does this mean? Well basically it means that the wheel doesn't return to center after cornering. I should have fixed the spring issue but moved on to other things. Bumpers, sliders, winch, gears... and before I had realized, I had eaten through the inside tread in my front two tires. I replaced the worn fronts with some used 33x12.5s so the fronts and backs are the same size, just not the same tread.
This truck runs awesome. I have been through all the accessories, battery starter alternator clutch was done add well as slave and master. Brakes were done and wheel cylinders replaced in rear. axle has trunnion eliminator kit with stronger knuckle studs and rock delete ring. Pretty much just needs new Springs and the exhaust leak fixed to be a completely solid Wheeler.
This truck does 80 down the interstate no problems, but the front wheels need balancing. Other than that it's got 3 non poppable dents on the cab.
