Alaska- $400 1989 extended cab pickup. Good truck, bad engine
Edit: Sold! The guy who bought it says he wants to add 4wd, drop in a Chevy V8, and turn it into a trail rig. It sounds like a pretty big project to me, but I was happy to see that my truck wouldn't get broken up for parts. It was still too nice for that.
I have a 2wd Toyota truck for sale in Fairbanks, AK. Extended cab, 5 speed manual with the 22RE engine. It ran great until it suddenly died a few days ago. A compression test shows zero compression in all four cylinders, so I think the engine is gone. This is a great truck and would easily run for hundreds of thousands of miles more with a new engine. The transmission and drivetrain are great and the body is good for its age. The gas tank is almost full. Giant pipes not included.
