1988 xtra cab for newer yota (Pittsburgh, PA)
Let me just start out by saying I love the snot out of this truck and I hate to see it go, but im gonna be doing a lot of traveling in the next year and need something a little more "highway friendly". So i'm just trying to see what you guys think.
170k miles
Some slight body rust spots (id call it slight but i live in PA so my standards are diff)
Frame is in great shape. a little surface rust but I stripped it 2 years ago down to bare metal and painted it.
Automatic w/ overdrive
22re
new timing chain/water pump/etc
set up for A/C but I removed the compressor but still have it.
Interior in good shape, no cracks or tears except the panel with the heater controls has a crack on the plastic face.
Factory chrome rims and they look saaweeet.
new exhaust cat back.
new axle seals, idler arm, tires, brake lines, rebuilt lock-in hubs
everything works flawlessly. I drive this truck to school everyday, ive taken it to maryland several times, taken it to Ohio. No wobbles or vibration at 90 mph on the highway. Runs, drives, stops, 4x4 works great. Shes had the oil changed every 3k miles, new tranny fluids, and I change the diff fluids every 2 oil changes.
Want to trade for something like a 2001 or up tacoma or first gen tundra, and of course id add cash depending on what you wanna trade. Id trade for something else tho, especially if its interesting
The bad:
I had the brush guard get crushed into the hood in a minor accident last year. The hood was crunched up a bit, but nothing besides that was damaged. It was never major enough to get a new hood, but ive found many that I was just too lazy to pursue.
I re-did the bed when i bought the truck several years ago, but 3 winters of snow, ice, and salt are making the rust bubble through some of the body work on the bed seam.
The best way to contact me is at zackontgomery@gmail.com or PM me, but i dont get on here as often as Id like. Thanks for looking!

Comes with this bumper installed. ^^

I have this bumper as well ^^
