Need help on 1988 3.0

Hey guys, I am new to this site and also a new Toyota owner. I picked up a 1988 Pickup 4WD SR5 with a 3.0, the only bad thing is the guy before me started messing with it and I have some parts missing. I have found most of them but I am needing help with this part.

I posted a picture, it has two lines that go to it. One says to tank and other says to purge. The one with the purge has a fitting in it and it looks broke, and the other side is not connected to anything. Can you tell me what it is and where it goes.

Thanks, I know this wont be my last post.

Chris

charcoal canister, it's part of the EVAP system. One side should connect to manifold vacuum the other connects to the gas tank.

I can't really tell you on the 3.0, I've got a 22re. Maybe one of the 3.0 guys can tell you or take a picture of the particular vacuum port it connects to on the intake.
