Hey everyone I've decided to sell my 4runner I've decided I need a better fuel economy car. Truck has WWW.blazeland.us front suspension with optional shock hoops and foa coilover shocks with reservoir, has 4.88 gears with Detroit true trac in the front, trail gear front bumper, newer 90%+ nankang mudstar 33x12.50x15 on aluminum rims. Interior is rough and the rear panels and seats are gone, some rust issues . Truck runs good auto transmission does not shift on its own unless on the highway. Truck can be used for parts for 86-95 Toyota pickups and 4runners or fixed and driven.daily. truck does drive and I will continue to drive it until sold or traded. Will trade for older Honda civic or accord or car with good gas milage, open to all offers you can search yotatech for crazytoyota4x4 for build up thread and pics.

 

If its still up for sale in march let me know. Just totaled my 88 and looking to pick up another with a moon roof. Waiting on insurance to settle.

 

Crazy, that stinks you have to sell your ride. Too bad you couldn't have both!

 

Btt . Really need the money will take 2100 for the truck , which is a deal for what I put into it.

 

How bad is the rust problems? A friend of mine just bought a 1988 3.0 auto tranny 4 Runner. The transmission is bad on his too. My transmission builder friend says the auto tranny is not easy to work on but he has a good used one for sale for $300. Yeah, $2100 only covers your suspension and tires. Someone wanting a project 4 Runner should pick this up and take over where you left off. I feel for you man! Best of luck!

 

The rust issues aren't too bad, there's some rust on drivers door jam above door, front of the rear fenders have some rust, and there's a rust hole on passenger door jam below door. The frame is good and has little to no rust. Someone could have a pretty sweet project for this price, or I will trade for a good gas mileage car

 

i have an 88 now and looking to lift it. were you to ever part it out what would you sell the lift for? complete. just wondering
