Question 3rd Gen right quarter glass

What is the purpose or just plain what is it? I am talking about the metalic looking lines that are found on the right rear quater glass?

Ahh I thought so but wasn't sure. Either that or I thought it was some sort of in glass antenna for something. Thanks I hate not knowing stuff so I ask.

Ya, it's a second antenna for the stock radio. I'm not sure what years apply, but I believe that only 3rd Gen's have them.

its called the diversity antenna. they are wires to help out your main antenna to receive radio signals.

here's a very small pic (attached).

I stand corrected . I assumed it was for the defroster. Of course being in a garage i've never had to worry about ice/snow on the truck. BTW, i must say that i've never been in a vehicle that has such good reception. I get about an extra 40-50% range over my previous rides' reception.
