I emailed Roger about his kit and explained that I respect him and everything, but his 2" kit will cost $127 if you do it the right way (steering extension and front bumper mounts). I don't need the radiator because I'm running an electric fan and it's fine if it sits low.

Now, Rough Country's kit comes with all of the same parts for $99.

So is anyone better than the other? I'm on a budget just like alot of you are I'm sure and want the cheapest parts possible. But I'm not going to go cheaper at the cost of quality. That's why I ask you guys/girls.......which is better if any difference at all?

Tough choice. Support a fellow wheeler and Toy driver who is prompt with replies and tech or feed some cash to a coroporation who likely has no idea what a Toy is.

I have Mr. Brown's stuff and have been nothing but impressed with quick and curteous responses.

 

I purchased the RB 1" body lift, haven't put it on yet, because everyone here on these boards swears by the guy's work and customer service. I also got his diff drop kit too which I'm am attempting to install tomorrow if I can just get the diff mount bolts loosened up, couldn't undo them today. He's prompt on his replies to questions/orders and quick to deliver the parts so I would recommend RB.

 

Thanks Flygtenstein, that was my exact thought about it. I figure that I could start a relationship with someone that might be able to help me out with parts throughout my lift process. Thats what I'll end up going with.

Thanks to you too Darx. I didn't know that he made a differential drop as well. Might be able to use that later.
