Brend2b's 98 4Runner Limited
1998 4Runner Limited 4x4 3.4 5VZ-FE Automatic Transmission

Bought it September '08 with 140k Miles. Third owner, barely any rust, Anthracite Metallic paint, Factory E-Locker, 4.30s, a pair if PIAA 1400s, and a roach in the back.
Hahaha makes me wonder about the previous owner

Mods/Upgrades
Went on to do the Grey Wire mod, Blue plug mod, Extended Differential Breather mod, and the ISR mod within the first week of having it. I later installed a installed a 4" Deckplate, TrueFlow Filter, WabFab Discos & Poly Sway Bar Bushings, Front Tow Points, Aux./Reverse Lights, Tundra Whip Antenna, 2 12" Kicker Subs, Kenwood 900W Mono amp, and made Superflux LED Dome/Map/Mirror/Footwell Lights from scratch.

The Accident
On September 11th '09 i ended up rear ending a driver who was not paying attention to stopped traffic in front of them. I wasn't able to see the stopped line of traffic around them until they went off the road to avoid it leaving me nowhere to go except into the back of them or oncoming traffic. They took full responsibility for the accident when asked by the officer on the scene. The insurance company gave me basically what I bought the 4Runner for a year ago. I only cracked the fan shroud, smashed the airbox, and did a ton of body damage.

The Aftermath
After the accident I ended up driving it around for a few months in its fenderless state, with a ghetto rigged headlight and a big pull to the left. It was fine for around the town until I was able to find a new 4Runner. It now serves as a parts vehicle for my new 4Runner and eventually will be parted out completely.
Drove around like this for a while
