Common gear ratio for 3rd gen Runners???

Common gear ratio for 3rd gen Runners???
What are the common gear ratios for say a 96-00 4Runner? With and without e-locker. So far I know there is 4:10 & 4:30. Other than that, what else is there, and why is that ratio in one vs the other?

4:10 and 4:30 are all I've heard for the 3.4. I've got a 2000 limited, 4:30 and factory E-locker.
