Well I found a matching set of 91 FJ80 axles I'm going to see about buying this afternoon and I was hoping someone could tell me how I can in fact make 100% sure these are FJ80 axles. I'm paying $500 for the front and rear good deal?

It's a decent price but if I remember correctly the rear diff on FJ80's are offset to the right. Not centered like 'normal' Toyota rear axles.
I would it to be sure

I should have mentioned the rear is a FJ60 with 9.5 pinion, not sure if that makes a difference of not

Alright I bought the axles and I see what you mean about the rear FJ60 pinon beeing offsetted way to the right any ideas how I can get this guy bolted up without having to swap T-cases and that whole mess? Hoping there is some sort of driveshaft conversion

yep, my neighbor recentered a mini truck axle with a 9.5" diff and got almost a grand for it. tons of work can't remember if he had to have custom axles cut or not it was a few years ago.
