Need to know a part name, thanks

Hi, I need to find out what part this is. Of course autozone is the only one within 30 miles of me and they dont know. It's on top of the valve cover, it is white and connected to a grey box. The truck is missing but when I push on the white part with the wires it stops. So figured it is the white part or the grey. It is a 1994 tacoma 4 speed I think a 22r, this thing is so old I can't find anything that tells me. Thanks in advance and see pictures.

I am no 22R-E expert, but I'd guess AC idle up VSV.

I think you may be right after looking at the part, thanks so much, at least you pointed me in the direction I needed to go.

No problem. Here is some more info on testing the VSV. Also check out the lines for any cracks or leakage. I don't think this is a parts store part, probably Toyota only, eBay or salvage yard.

Yes, a Vacuum Switching Valve. Most likely just a connection problem because those things seldom go bad.
Before you replace inspect the connector (white) and pins on both sides for any corrosion, loose connection, broken wire strands, dirt, etc. and test it like mentioned above.
