94 yota pickup (Drift project)
So I purchased this little pickup almost 2 years ago. I owned a 89 nissan d21 at the time and pickup up the yota for $400 for a 5 lug swap for my d21. Before I could get into parting out the yota she grew on me and I couldn't bring myself to scrap it, and ended up selling the nissan and building it lol. She is a little rough but we all gotta start somewhere. Its got a little over 116k on a 22re 5spd transmission. I got it all torn apart in my driveway now and been collecting parts for almost a year now. Here a parts list of what I already have
2 inch belltech drop spindles
3 inch lowering DJM front lower control arms with energy suspension poly bushings
Belltech street performance shocks
3 inch belltech drop leaf springs
3 inch drop blocks
eventually i'd like to run a coilover setup and install a 4 link suspension
I also have a D4 (8.8) ford rear end out of a 2000 explorer with 3.73 gear ratio & rear disc breaks.
Got an additional pair of rear break calipers so i can run a dual caliper set up with my hydro E-brake.
Wilwood master cylinder for the hydro E-brake
Also got some deep dish after market steel wheels believe to be 15x9's and also have a set of aluminum 15x7 jeep wheels.
currently in process of removing the 22re and would like to swap in a 2jz vvti with manual R154 transmission at some point in time lol.
I also purchased a 94 4x4 pickup for parts for it. Im stealing the tail gate amd doors from it, and also.a sliding rear window.
Will work on adding pictures soon.

My girlfriend wants to build her Frontier to be a drift truck as well. I'm a big fan of questioning the status quo and think it's awesome to see trucks in the drift scene.
This project sounds like a lot of fun! Keep us posted on the build.

Thats awesome, Never heard anyone trying do drift a frontier, but that will be pretty cool. She been on the back burner for awhile now, and would like to get my 4runner going lol. I do however feel like buying some xmas presents for her like a rear end rebuild kit and possibly some drilled and slotted rotors. I found a 2jz on market place for $400 just an hour away from me, but that guy never responded to my many pms lol. That would make a great xmas present for it lol
