1988 22RE Timing Chain Replacement

Hello Everyone,
I have a 1988 Toyota 4x4 Pickup with timing chain issues. I pulled the valve cover and looked down the front of the engine. The left side guide is missing ( I'm sure it is in the pan,) I did roll the engine over and put the crank on TDC. The cam sprocket appears to be off one tooth. There is no coolant in the oil. Where is a good place to get the needed replacement parts? I see the enginebuilder guy is now retired. The engine is stock. Its my daily driver and has been for 23 years. Please help!! I need to get this fixed before the snow hits. I am in NW Kansas.

Ebay, or Amazon are good places to look for the best prices on high quality parts.

I'd recommend an OSK brand chain, sprocket and tensioner kit.

Would the kits with metal guides be worth the extra $$$ ?

Yes, I'd opt for a metal guide on the tension side, for sure. ( That's the longer straight one) Plastic is fine for the return side.

I don't know that there a Japanese made component kit that supplies metal guides.

I'd probably buy that metal guide separately.
