CT26 upgrade

So, its been easier than anticipated...
ALL the lines and studs from the CT20 bolted right up on the CT26...
Reclocked the center section, very simple...
Tweaked the oil lines a little bit to line them up, to where they attach to the block...

the old CT20

The NEW CT26

If you cut thru the weld it leaves the flare for the silicone elbow to grab onto, you might get run into issues here with it wanting to blow off.

Thank you a little late... lol oh well, plan B
If you look close, even if I'd have cut the weld on my pipe it still had no lip to hold a hose clamp on from blowing off... I'm surprised the other end never did its as smooth as a babies butt, somehow never blew off... my turbo may have only been making a couple pounds of boost though...

Thanks I cut some thin strips out of some scrap iron and I'm going to tack these to the two ends so the fittings can't blow off... decided to not do this and had the ends flared at ramco muffler shop instead...

Flange

That the eBay billet flange?

I still haven't put a bung in my downpipe, exhaust still just running out the wheelwell. Are you going with the Toyota flange style or a screwing bung?

Got the AFM yesterday... plugged it in...
found #1 5° BFTDC fired right up...
the only clamp. Screw or bolt I didn't tighten was the freakin banjo bolt for the oil supply line...
made a pretty big mess before I noticed I was pumping my oil on the shop floor... tightened it up... filled with oil..
installed boost gauge... fired up... test drive
HOLY CRAP BALLS!!!! WOW! 12lbs boost at WOT and she comes alive... it's really fun to drive...
worth the effort? Definitely...
