What is this plug?
I pulled the upper intake plenum off to replace the injectors and there's this random plug I don't remember disconnecting and it wasn't in any of the pre dissassembly pictures... Pics are here. First one is a far away and second is a close up

Make, model year, package.. All details missing from your post..
At a glance. It was never connected (notice it's "memory", lays it pretty much right where you show it), likely the Cali spec emissions harness and that would plug into the egr temp sensor on the back of the plenum if you had one..
If you want to be certain you need to backprobe the ECU untill you find what pin(s) that plug has continuity with, then cross reference with the ECU pinout map.

Sorry, it's an 86 22rec 4runner.
tgell001,
Welcome to the forum.
Yes, please always tell us what model-year-engine-transmission-trim you have. Else we assume it's an Escalade
If it's your only Toyota, I suggest you put info ^^^ on your signature.
Hot-start (Fuel Pressure-up) VSV?
Note how pressure goes up when I unplug it.

Sorry about the lack of info, i need to use a computer to set up my profile but I'm scrambling to get this thing ready for an event I'm leaving for Thursday.
But, that connection is terminated (see pics) I'm thinking it was never connected

The blue connection in the second pic is for the IACV idle air control valve. There’s 5 ways I know of dealing with a bad IACV.
1. Remove it, clean it, test it, if all good, reinstall it.
2. Delete it, deal with overly rich, bad cold starts.
3. Find a good used one.
4. Update throttle body and upper intake manifold to an 1989 or newer.
5. Use a Nissan part as seen here:
