Is there any way to cross reference a bolt part number to find the size/thread of the bolt?
I need to do some work on my 98 3rd gen 4runner and I'd rather not wait 2-3 weeks to get a handful of bolts from Toyota when I can get them in 2-3 days from my local Fastenal. I could take the bolts out to measure but then my truck will be down for days. Part number don't give any indication of size (91512-61030) so I was hoping someone had a way to decode or a way to find the size.

Thanks, I have a pretty decent metric set but it always turns out that I need an odd ball length that I don't have.

Just which bolts do you need ??

M8x1.25 M10x1.25 m12x1.25

M6x1.00 then just guess at the lengths you need

I can get most all Toyota Hardware in 2 days unless it is really strange from my local dealer

Maybe your in the great White North ??

Unless things changed I never was able to get JIS bolts at Fastenal best of luck

The p/n usually, although not always, has the the thread size in the first few digits of the second half of the p/n. For example, the LBJ bolts p/n is 90105-10406. The size is M10. Works with nuts and washers, too. Then Toyota makes the pitch easy, as they only use one pitch for thread size, to wit:

So the LBJ bolt is M10x1.25mm.

Length you are on your own.

The p/n you posted is also likely a M10x1.25, going by the second and third digits of the second half. I'm still playing with this revelation, but it works more often than it doesn't.
