Nice.
Thinking of doing that, too. First-gen cargo deck roll-bar looks cool in pictures but practically bad, especially in terms of electrical fire when the STUPID roll-up window would be dead.

IF you already have a starter relay, just rewire it for < $15.

Then 12V to 1,2,3 7 as you turn ign ket to appropriate positions......

We picked the first-gen 4Runner for it's simplicity. I would not complicate it just to get a good deal on an add-on.
