i doubt you need either the preset or return spring. you probably need the spring in your photo, which isnt either of those. the spring you need (and the one in the photo) is part of the brake...

From the Bosal catalog, the part you linked is supposed to fit 1989-1995 4WD short wheelbase trucks with the 22R-E.

For your 1987 truck, it looks like you need Bosal 284-867 which fits 1984-1988...

The metal line drains water out of the Cooling Unit (the box with the A/C Evaporator). The flexible line is the air input into the charcoal canister. They're fine as they are.
