mozilla firebird problem
 

Hi

I really like using Mozilla Firebird, mainly because of its tabbed browsing.

But I am experiencing a problem downloading attachments to my desktop when using this browser. I open a message in my Yahoo account that has an attached jpeg. Then when saving the jpeg to the desktop "something" happens to screw up the image and it cannot be opened on the desktop. The properties of the download just say "File" under file type. When I do the same proceudre with Internet Explorer, the jpeg downloads correctly, the correct icon appears, and under file type in properties, it will say "JPEG Image." It will open the way it is supposed to.

Any ideas on what is going on? Thanks for any replies.

when saving the image, make sure you type in the name xxxx.JPG, instead of it saving as JPEG.. i know it seems stupid, but it can be the difference of it working, or not working
