Configuring DialUp
 

I have cable, but my girlfriend has dialup. I set up the connection on my laptop over at her apartment and it worked fine. But now every time I bring up IE at my place, it brings up the dialup connection. If I close the box out, IE goes offline. The cable modem is connected, and it'll work if I delete the dialup connection. The dialup is NOT set as the default connection, so I can't think of anything else it might be. I thought of maybe creating another user account and setting up the dialup on that one, but I don't wanna do that if I can at all avoid it. Any ideas?

This is my guess:

In IE go to tools>internet options. Click on a tab called connections.

You should have the options:

Never dial a connection
Dial whenever a network connection is not present
Always dial my default connection

Click on Never dial a connection.
