computer problem?
 

ok whenever i go to save a picture off the internet it only saves them as a bitmap image instead of jpeg even when the picture im saving is jpeg, its been like this for a while and its annoying the heck out of me. im sure i just accidentally hit the wrong key at some point and caused it to do this but i dont know how to fix it. if anyone has any ideas id like to hear them.

thats very odd. Sounds like you have something running to covert the file format. Hmm the only prog I have that can do that is Adobe Photoshop...I never tried it in paint, i guess it can probably do it....

I had that exact same problem about 5 years ago.
I would go to save a known jpg, and it would come out to a bmp.

There was a tech article on how to fix this on Microsofts site, had to edit the reg file.
I can not remember how to do it, but I am sure Google can find it for you.

According to microsoft, updating your IE will solve your problem.
