Yaesu FTM-10r and stock speakers

The title is more of a hook than what I'm actually going to ask, but as long as you clicked...

I've started doing some basic modifications to my 1982 SR5 RN38. I'm a HAM radio operator (KD0CGE), and the rig I've chosen to install in my truck is a Yaesu FTM-10r. It is a dual band mobile radio with an auxilliary input and stereo output. I've wired up a 3.5mm stereo plug to my ash try to be able to listen to my ipod and operate the radio simultaniously. I have the output from the radio running to a small 60w amplifier and its all mounted up under the dash. It really is a neat setup, highly reccomended.

But this brings me to my actual question... The speaker in the driver's side door works just fine, sound is what is to be expected from a 30 year old truck. The passenger speaker, however, does not function at all. I've tried hotwiring it to the driver's side output on the amp... no dice. I'd like to keep it simple and just replace the speaker with one that is the same size so, does anybody know exactly what size replacement speaker I need to procure?

Thanks in advance!

Just verify that it's the speaker and not the amp or a defective 3.5" cable. Hook a known good speaker to the same side and see if it works.

I prefer a few minutes of troubleshooting versus replacing parts to find out they still don't work

Done and done. I ended up picking up a single speaker from the local audio supplier for a bunch of dealerships, he cut me a real good deal on it. It didn't fit *perfectly*, and if i had taken the time to bore out the holes properly it would have dropped right in place. I ended up hacking it together and now the speaker cover doesn't fit right, but duct tape fixed that right up.
