lowrance h20/ laptop
Searched quite a bit didn't see any specific "up to date " info so here goes....What is necessary to make my lowrance h20 operate through my laptop?? ie. using my laptop as a monitor for the g.p.s. if that makes any sense??? thanks for any input whatsoever

Should work. I used to use a cheap Garmin handheld unit hooked to the serial port of a laptop and ran Copilot GPS software and it worked just fine.
Set your receiver to output "NMEA" and use this data cable http://www.amazon.com/Lowrance-Cable.../dp/B0009J4I00 And use your gps enabled navigation software of choice. |
