Geocaching

This doesn't have much to do with Toyotas, but Geocaching is a great excuse for getting out. You would be suprised how many are hidden where you live. You just need a GPS to find them. Check it out at www.geocaching.com

I've done it before and it is fun. Wife and I (together activities are good) went out and found 4 our first weekend

Jennifer and I went out Geocaching in Newport Beach one time and had a blast.

It helped a lot that the cache was in an awesome place and was filled with all sorts of cool toys ;)

My friend and I tried geocaching yesterday and MAN! It's HARD! We couldn't find any of them!

It's no wonder we can't find any WMD's in iraq. I mean, if we couldn't find a plastic box that we know the coordinates of, how is the military supposed to find some boxes in the middle of a desert?! :D

I'll have to hunt that down to see what you left and leave more goodies of my own. :D

Nah... we left some lame stuff that we found at a local store (dried out starfish) and a Sacajawea dollar. We ended up taking a toy car (mine :hillbill: ) and a Riverside EMT patch (hers).

The one we went to was pretty cool some pirate theme that was one of those double checkpoint thingies - I don't remember the term they used :P
What was really cool was that I never knew there was a vehicle ferry out there. Speaking of which - almost saw a disaster... some soccer mom was last in line and didn't leave immediately because she was taking some pictures or something like that. She felt rushed, ran back into the lifted and blinged (rims) F-250, and gunned it off the ferry. Of course, water not being as stable as ground - if it wasn't for the ferry driver thinking fast and making sure the anchor arms stayed in place, the soccer mom could have very likely ended up driving into the drink
