need to know speaker sizes

i got a 96 taco, extended cab 4x4. I'm looking at putting a brand new stereo, subs, the whole nine yards. But i am NOT spending an over the top amount. What size speakers will fit in the stock panels, tweaters, etc. and what size sub/ amp should i get? thanks

The sub is a tricky subject for the taco. Rear seat has limited air space. I used a sony explode 10'' with a 300watt RMS amp. Custom box under the rear seat. crappy sub but sounds good. I would recommend a better sub though.

i can post some pics if your curious.

Just bolted the sub to the back of the 1/8 steel plate. Did some misc caulking around the inside of the box to seal it up as best i could, kind of messy process but it helped. Also the box has an existing small chamber leading to the other side box that I just left alone. Kind of acting as a port.

Sorry that last pic was way to small

This way you can still fold down the rear seat.

Look for subs that are designed for small air space and use a decent amp and this sound pretty good.
