iPhone 4runner stereo

so my old pioneer stereo was absolute CRAP and i had to get rid of it. the only song the stereo was some lynyrd skynyrd song. so i was wondering if anyone knew how to just bypass the stereo all together and make it so i could connect my iphone straight to the speakers of the car and just use that? :dunno::horse::horse::horse:

Buy a headphone to RCA adapter such as http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3449316

Then go buy a 4 channel amp (for more than a new head unit would cost).

Then plug the RCA inputs into the amp's input.

Then either run new wires to the individual speakers or figure out how to tap into the factory wiring to drive the speakers.

Or if that's too involved, just use the iPhone speaker and put it in a cup holder or on the dash to reflect the sound back towards you.

(My advice, btw, would be to just go buy a new $100-$200 head unit, install it yourself and be done with it.)
