headunit install...
 

...on an 01 tacoma. how difficult, i've do plenty of installs before i just wanna make sure theres nothin outa the ordinary on this one. just picked up a panasonic h/u and the local audio shop. got the install kit and harness.

my one big question is how do i get that big plastic piece covering the radio and all that off?? is it just snapped in or are there actually screws holding it in?? i really haven't had a chance to check it out yet...but i don't wanna just start tearing it apart and end up breaking somethin...

well my dad had an 04 tacoma and im pretty sure the were a few screws holdin it in there. hard to remember where though; been a few years. my main know hows are the first and sec. generation toys.
