Fan for amp?

Well im tired of coming out to my runner after school and not being able to run my subs b/c the amp is so hot b/c of the weather + inside an all black runner is prolly like 140* or something. The amp is a Sony XPLOD XM-2200GTX (1200W 2 channel). Anyways wut im getting to is that i want to put a PC fan (or 2) over the top of it to try and help with cooling. If this woud be a good idea, how in the world would i wire it up?
This is the fan that im lookng at - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1099392683289. Like i said is this even worth it, any help is apprecitated.

get the fans from www.newegg.com they will be cheaper...get two 120mm fans..they will flow a decent amount of air.

the fans hook up regular positive\negative to a 12v source.

you can eaither fab a bracket or buy something that will allow the fans to blow on your amps.

Im going to be doing this same thing soon because my 4ch amp gets hot enough to cook an egg on.

You may want to look into fans that are thermo controlled that way when you arent blasting music (amp gets hotter) they are spinning slower so you dont hear them whining. But when you are blasting music and the amps heat up..the fans will spin faster.

aight sounds good, but most connectors are 3 and 4 pin, there is no where to hook them up. Also the subs are obviously in the back and there would need to have a lot of wire.

the connector will be a 4 pin molex (used in computer power supplies) If you get a bigger fan and it has 3 pins and a very little connector (which is rare that it would) the three wires are positive negative and one will be a signal wire..clip the connector off and just cut off the signal wire as you have no need for it.

If it has the regular four pin molex again..just clip off the connector and wire up some power to it. You can pull power from your rear window relay..but.. than the fans will only turn on when your ignition is on the ON position.

I would just run a accesory wire from up front.
