The 15s are in!!

Just got my 2 Kicker L7 square 15s in today. They are in a 9 cu. ft. box(vented) and seem to have good bass. Currently running 1700watts to them with another amp on the way. Havent had a chance to get the dB so hopefully high 150s. Pics to come after box is leather wrapped.

good lord... 2 15" kickers... that's craaaaazy loud.

When I read your title I thought you got some 15" rockcrawlers or something though, not used to seeing stuff about audio on here. But those are some serious subs, I am definitely jealous.

i was thinking about bying an 12 L7. How do these sound.

The 12" L7s are great, thats what I ran before i moved up to the 15s. 1 12 L7 would give you all the bass you need.

I have 2 MTX 4000 12's powered by a 1200 watt 2 channel MA amp. I don't quite think it's enough. I'm planning on getting JL W3's or maybe W7's a little later.

For stereo guys, it's never enough :banger:

Yeah I would deffinately be puttin some more power to those. L7's in general can be very loud but there SQ is so so. I just sold my 10"L7 I wasn't happy with the SQ. Im gonna try a Boston Pro 10.

I got an audiobahn alum12Q which im pushing probably 6-700 watts to and it is pretty dang loud in the 2.5 ft^3 sealed box and it sounds pretty clean as well, they are about 110 bucks on ebay, and I bet if you went with the 10 it would sound even cleaner, I did have to reglue the surround to the cone wiht some zap-a-gap though, but its been weaks and no sign of the glue failing yet.
