How to set tags in a new/existing thread?

How do you add tags to a post? Whether it be new or existing?
I know I've done it before in one of my threads, but that was a long time ago and I no longer remember how to do it.
Has anything changed? Or am I simply overlooking it?

-Thanks

A rant I have is when I want to post a pic it tells me I've already used it and won't let me post it

ztbailey1...I don't fully understand your question and maybe something I want to learn as well. Maybe some one can chime in.

83 trail rig.. If I repost a picture, on my thread or even on someone elses thread, I hit the Edit button and copy and paste the IMG part to the post that I want. I don't know if this will answer your question, but is how I do it.

I meant search tags, I should've clarified on that.
When you type something in the search bar, it pulls up threads with those words tagged to it, and then also threads with those words inside.
Wondering how to add search tags to a thread so when someone searches for those things, that specific thread will pop up.

the actual search feature on the site itself sucks. Common knowledge for members with any time in.

most of us just add yotatech to a google search string to get what we want quickly.

most html will work within a post, so you could just add a small string of code at the bottom of the main post in a thread and it would work.

But I can tell you its pretty uneeded if you do the google seacrh mentioned above.

Yeah i've done the google search like that a few times, definitely helps.
I've also been on here awhile but just thought I'd ask
