Just my opinion and hopefully received as constructive criticism, but I think something like this should be the first thing you see when you open the site. I see the voting has ended and the poll was started in november, but I had no idea there was a poll for this until just now, and 36 out of 112k members voted.

I realize that not all 112k members are around anymore, but the sites large membership and to only have 36 people vote is pretty ridiculous. If it was me I would consider next time making it a front page poll or link to the poll, even send out a PM remind to vote. It takes very little time to do so I highly doubt someone will complain about it. Anyways... Thoughts? Done before?

not gonna say that it's a bad idea, but I don't even glance at the front page at all. I go right to my "user cp" and "new posts" and frequently to the other sections I cruise.

I do believe it WAS on the front page, though.

same here, and i check my PM's too. if i had an alert to vote i would of done it.

Not a bad idea to have the poll linked to the home page...I think we can make it work for next calendar
