Nice work on the fabrication side of things. Will you mount the spare in the bed as well?

Looks good, I like your shaved mudders.
You could make some storage pockets into the front part of the bed to make some more storage space. Are you planning to mount front fenders also?
Is that a 67 Chevelle in the back ground?

You have a keen eye mr. 84sr5! The first two pics show the inside of the fenders (1st front/2nd rear). The front fenders will be added after I land a 22re in it. And then the rest are of the 67 chevelle. I still have not taken the time to find out if the car is a 396ss or a 327 due to conflicting emblems on the car and the fact that I got it with a 427 in it. But hey, I got it for $2000 so I wont fuss over it. On with the pics!

Thanks. Do the words Rouse Ridge, Lockhead, or Thomas Mtn ring a bell?

You need to finish that truck so you can start on the Chevelle, that thing is a score for $2000 you want to sell it?
Keep up the work, how long till you think you'll have it on the trail?

oh man, thomas mtn was some of the best snow wheelin in the winter.
my 79 with a 3" lift on 33's would rock on the mtn. i have stopped with snow up to the bumper if i did'nt make the hill.
i can go from the top of thomas mountain(past mountain center) to the ranger station on dirt, what about thirty miles and three to four thousand feet elevation change.

i remember meeting one of the 4 wheel drive magazine group coming out of rouse ridge in a heavy snowstorm.
of course i went farther than they did i'm in a yota lol...

great memories for sure. i know i enjoyed wheelin out there.
lots of offroad race teams in the san jacinto/hemet area.
i had some neighbors that raced baja.
lytle creek, wrightwood, arrowhead, so much good wheelin.

Yup the KOH count-down clock is running.
Went with some friends last week to do some shock tuning, good times! We'll be ready.

E-Roc, thanks much, made my day even better, a little homesick though, lol. i'm fighting the urge to either grab my yota keys or my yz 450 throttle.
winter in cali is the best, i have moto'd, wheeled, and jet skied in the same day.
when i get out to see my mom in hesperia, we'll have to get together and do a little wheelin..

awesome pics, wish i had taken some back in the day.
