narrowing the frame?

when my yota is flexin in the back the tires hit the frame and push them off the bead, anybody ever narrow the frame or cut it off and tube it out? any pointers before i go diving into this project?:wrench:

Wheel spacers? Most people swap a 86+ axle in the back for added width / clearance.

Wheel spacers would be a lot less work!!

You can narrow the frame just measure twice cut once:helo:

how much backspacing is on your rims? There must be rim options that give you a bit more room.

sounds like it's time to truggy your rig if you don't want to swap the axle out. sure its even more work but will be worth it :)

oh yes, trying to decide whether or not i want to just chop the back side off behind the links and tube it or keep the stock frame and narrow it......decisions decisions
