Awesome flatbed man. I am getting ready to do my own and seeing your bed build is making me reconsider some options haha. I would love to see some pics of the wheel carrier when you get it done, it sounds really interesting and unique. I haven't seen a flat bed with some thing quite like that.

I am not a body person at all so forgive me if this is a stupid question. The auto body sealant "stuff" that you used, does it set up hard? how long does it last? and does spray paint stick to it pretty well?

It does set up hard from what I can tell. Spray paint seems to be sticking to it just fine. So far it's holding up just fine but I've never used it before so I don't know how long it will last.

Just wondering - did you drill holes and bolt the base to the original mounting holes, or did you weld it to the frame?


I really like the design and may try copying it.
