Making Half doors
 

Im interested in making some half doors for my 88 and am wondering if anyone has a write up on it or any bright ideas how to do it best. Is welding required to do this? Or can i just cut the doors and get creative with fasteners? Will doors off an older yota fit?

If I had an older Toyota truck or 1st gen 4Runner, these are the ones I'd get.

Those should give you an idea or two.
Or are you looking at the type where you cut down your present style door?

Actually i was looking at the ones where you trim down the stock doors. Thanks for your reply though.

You could build some without welding. You're right about having to get creative with fasteners though. They probably would look as finished.

I bet you could find a bunch on Pirate or Google.

Doors from an '84-'88 truck, or an '84-'89 4Runner would work for your rig.

Definately look on pirate, there is tons of stuff on half doors there. I remeber seeing a pic of a runner with 4 half doors, it looked awesome!
