flatbed question
 

Building a flatbed for my 84 4x4 pu. How much space should I have from bottom of flatbed to top of my rear tire? I do have a 3 inch suspension lift on it right now. Currently I have about 6 inch before tire would touch. That enough?

Meaning do you throw loads of 1000 pounds or more on in every day use in real rough terri.

Hauling firewood out of the woods that sort of thing .

I have a 86 4x4 pickup with new 235/75/15 tires the clearance one that to the bottom of the bed to the top of the tire empty is about 3 1/2"

I have not used it for other then firewood at home . I have yet to hit the bed on the tires.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!...not really gonna carry much of a load while flexing I wouldn't think. So I should be fine.
