35's on a Long-Travel Tacoma?
You can fit 35's on full compression and lock-to-lock steering. Check out this article that we just published on Off-Road.Com about how we clearanced the firewall and fenders to fit 35's on our Total Chaos-equipped Tacoma. We included downloadable templates that might be useful to anyone that wants to run 35" tires with 3.5" over arms on a Tacoma. Give us some feedback- I'd like to know how those templates work out for anyone else.

Nice to see someone else running 35's with the LT kit... I feel this is the only way you can without rubbing, since at stock width the tires will hit the frame.

Bruce, have you cut out your firewall yet or just flattened the body-seam? Also are your tires 12.5 wide or wider or narrower?

Sorry to revive an old thread but I've been digging for this article from off-road.com and can't come up with it. Anyone know where I can find it? I'm curious to see how they pulled this off.
Thanks in advance |

I did a combination of both, cut some sheetmetal and pounded the rest out of the way. I'm running 315/75-16 MTR's and they just clear the spindle.
