2nd gen pickup fender exo/bumper build

Also doing a flatbed on it tomorrow, but this is the start of what was done. I started with a bent All-Pro front bumper and added everything else to it.

It took some tweaking, but i think we got it pretty straight. This rig is going to the Chili Challenge next week I believe.

Looks good man!

Very nice

I like how you have integrated a step into the bumper. How many times have we all slipped off a bumper and dug our shins into the radiator support or other skin tearing piece of metal?

Curious, is there any flex at the "L" bend on the upper corner of the fender exo?

Well, we knocked out the flat bed today. Jason will be adding the boat sides at a later date for Roy. Here you go:

Actually, not much at all. I wish I had something to tie it into, but there isn't anything there. Even a tube over the hood would work, but the owner didn't want that. I even thought about taking one through the inner fender and over the engine to the other side, but clearance just isn't there.

gorgeous welds, nice lines. like what you did with the retaining pipe for the bed, you going to sheet some of the lower stuff around the flatbed? :drink:
