22R Carb Swap

22R Carb Swap
Hey guys/gals. I have been experimenting with my 22r trying to increase power and possibly gain MPG. As of right now I am running a TryY header, mild cam, and everything else is factory including Carb.
I have ran webers, aisins, and hollers on my 22R engines. However I have never ran a ford motor craft. I have a really nice 2brl off a 84 ford 2.8 v6 engine. I'm wanting to swap it to my 22R.
Has anyone done this? Is anyone interested in this? If I made a adapter would anyone be interested in buying and trying one?
As of right now I'm in the process of making a adapter to bolt this to my factory intake. I will get some pictures in a few to post. In the meantime all input is appreciated.

Okay well I got started on this earlier and I'm finished with it. I do not know if it will work as I've never done this. I can build anything but making it work is different.
First step was I used the aisin mounting gasket as a template then I traced it into a peice of 1/2" steel.
Second step was to do the same only using the motor craft mounting gasket.
I then combined them together using 1/8" steel tubing.
This is what I have. Only tools I used was grinder, welder, plasma cutter, and drill. Completely finished In less then 2 hours.
I just painted it so I have not installed it to see if it works. That may come another day idk yet.

Well I drove it today for the first time with the ford carb and it does great. No flooding out, spitting or anything. Although I did notice something really strange. My carb and intake spacer is freezing up. It never hurt anything or caused any problems but it sure does look strange. Here's a pic
All that white is ice. It's not cold out either so I'm kinda unsure why its doing it.
Anyone got any ideas

The reason your adapter is icing up is because the stock rubber insulator prevents the adapter from getting heat from the engine. This combined with air moving through it a a very high speed is causing the humidity in the air to freeze to it lol. Its frozen condensation like a cold beer bottle on a hot day.

I'd take 200.00 for the carb and adapter shipped anywhere in the us
