I will not be making the trip - I cannot get one of my front tires and or wheel to hold air. Its been a problem the last month and I thought I had it figured out after running Miner's but that may have been the last straw.

Love/Hate relationship with these beadlocks...

Tell me about it. I just torqued all mine again as two were leaking.

Bring the FJ, it's an easy enough trail you shouldn't have to worry about damage. You know you want to see it's capabilities.

With those beadlocks, before you re-torque them make sure you always -un-torque first...

I have noticed with mine that they tend to slowly tighten up. I've got about a dozen bolts to replace, half of those I snapped off at Miner's.

Yes, I alway loosen them first and then re-torque. It's a loooong process taking care of beadlocks. First all around at around 10 and then about 15. So far, no broken bolts. Soooooo, the FJ this weekend?

oops. I kinda watched those... The bolt heads were giving great traction up that rock waterfall though. Its like studded ice tires!!

Well, yes and no. My new job might not be the best fit for me. If I stick with it, I'll be out for the weekends for some time. If not... and I find another one, then who knows. I might even be able to make Moab.

I agree. Some summer night runs would be cool. We could set them up so we are off the dirt around 11:00 or so... since some of you guys have to work the next day.

Log Corral in reverse is a great dark run... maybe Sunflower, then of course there is always 404.
