Here you go, something for everyone. Easy, Medium and Hard.

Feb 7: Four Peaks Clean Up

Mar: 7: Axle Alley

Mar 21: Install IKEA Wood Floor

April 4: White Tanks

April 18: Mummy Mayhem 2009

May 2: Sandy Beach

May 16: Cancelled

I hope to get out more myself and hope to see more other folks hit the trails this spring as well.

What about another trip to the beach? I guess we can plan that on our own, when it dries out.

Since so few vehicles can actually make it through there, that one would be better on it's own as you said.

Hey Steve,

Would you mind posting the difficulties next to each? I don't know the area's well enough to know otherwise. Thanks!

(Difficult, Built Truck) Jan 24: Martinez Canyon, could close soon

(Easy, Everyone) Feb 7: Four Peaks Clean Up

(Difficult, Built Truck) Feb: 21: Table Mesa, Dirty Sanchez & Terminators. Others too.

(Difficult, Built Truck) Mar: 7: Axle Alley

(Difficult, Built Truck) Mar 21: White Tanks

(Difficult, Built Truck) April 4: Highway to Hell

(Moderate, Rear Locker, Lift) April 18: Hackberry Creek

(Moderate, Rear Locker, Lift, when you take the easier lines) May 2: Pyeatt Draw

(Easy, Everyone) May 16: Sedona (Everyone) -OR- (Difficult, Built Truck) Table Mesa Again

Built Truck = 33"+ Tires, Two Lockers, Bumpers, Crawl Box, Dents Possible

Moderate = Sliders, Rear Locker, Small Lift

Easy = Stock Truck

We all started with 3rd or 2nd Gen basically stock 4Runners and have migrated over the last 10 years to a group with straight axle trucks with dents and built to the hilt. I have even move on to a full tube buggy.

We have a few trials for you, but alot of them are too hard. You or anyone else is more than welcome to come out and ride along.

Mike's gonna get a lot of opportunities to break in that SAS. I'll see you guys on a few of those weekends.

Are you ready to try and tackle the rock garden at Martinez again??

You probably wont want to drive down the luge though so if we get some full body rigs that dont like the raisin look then we will have to have an alternative?

sschaefer3 01-09-2009 11:50 AM

Trucks with bodies should probably turn back at Yellow Belly. The Jeep guys we met at H2H made it down but they have tube front fenders and they said they scrubbed those all the way down.

Scrubbing a Toyota fender would be disastrous. To run the full loop on Martinez these days you need a Buggy, Truggy or Raisin.

westy44runner 01-09-2009 11:53 AM

Good idea, I will volunteer to lead the group back from Yellow Belly! :D

Red Rover 01-17-2009 08:16 AM

Hey Guys... Drunkan and I are looking to catching up with you on some of these runs. The front locker is working so I am definitely going to need to break it in!

ravencr 01-26-2009 07:53 PM

I'll try to make it out Steve...but I don't want to show you guys up in my RZR or something. :) LOL...kidding, but I don't have a 4runner anymore.

Hey there! I noticed you had Sedona on the list for May. Well I'm the event coordinator for Disabled Explorers and we are putting on the third annual Sedonafest this year in June! Check it out:https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f66/.../#post51045433 Its a nice laid back family event for those looking for a great weekend of camping and scenic trail runs.

wormhole 03-30-2009 02:52 PM

Any idea what the Sedona run would be, if its done.

sschaefer3 03-30-2009 02:59 PM

The only stuff that is up there. I am guessing from past interest, we will be going back to Table Mesa.

Anyone want an "Everyone" Run? Sedona area.

Isn't it getting about time for another Crown King "run"?

Because I think we all have a death wish for another redneck Rhino ride. :domo:

Steve doesn't have a vehicle to make the Crown King run anymore so we didn't include it this year.

I guess he could always just hitch a ride with someone though. It was a pretty good time last year after the driving was done. :drink:

I think the Vespa would make it.

Make sure you get a picture.

I think there is a lot more interest in returning to Sandy Beach than going to Crown King.

I say we dump one of the May runs in favor of Sandy Beach.
