Miner's Revenge Trip - March 8, Saturday
Who wants to come out and join us for a trip through Miner's Revenge...here are the details below:
When: Saturday, March 8
Where: Miner's Revenge Trail near Superior. The trail is located in a very scenic canyon, and offers some great views, a deep gorge canyon and a challenging trail.
Meeting Point: 9:00AM - Los Hermanos Restaurant and Rest stop in Superior, AZ - located on the US60 in Superior, AZ on the SOUTH side of the HWY. There is a large parking area with bathrooms, located adjacent to Los Hermanos.
This is a hard trail. It is rated at 4+ and for good reason. The hardest part is in a fairly narrow, deep canyon, and the obstacles change after every rain. It has one 15' running waterfall that in most cases requires a winch and another that is no joke either. Among several rock gardens, squeeze, etc... A few bypasses exist...
Minimum requirements: 35" tires with a spare tire, 2 lockers, skid plates and rock sliders are a must along with recovery gear (tow strap) and tow points, and winch is a good idea too but not mandatory... oh yeah and an appetite for adventure...
Bring a lunch and beverages.
Post up if you can make the trip...see you out there!
Got questions...shoot me a PM.

I'll be there. Putting the Longs in this weekend so I don't have to worry about the front axle anymore. Since you cleared the waterfall last time, I guess we will all have to give it a shot now.

Excellent...Miner's is always a good one!
You may have a shot at making the waterfall. I ran up the far right line. The short wheelbase jeeps had no chance, but they gave it a damn good try. A tacoma came real close to making it...

I'll be there.
This would be my first run down south. Truck Werks should be finished with it this week. I had to replace a tweaked straight axle for the longs to fit right.
Sounds like fun and I cant wait to try out my newly installed dual t-case, Longs, and RAM assist
There are also some Tucson Yota guys that might show.
Cant Wait!!!

Thanks, I just buffed and waxed the truck last weekend. You should see it now. It is ready for this weekend. Bring your camera
Tim - After you fit the 35s on the camry I can give it a custom paint job that Elvota speaks so highly of.
