K&N Air filters

How well do the K&N air filters hold up to the dusty conditions here in Arizona? I had one on my old corolla and camry and had no problems but I was in Missouri and Idaho/Utah where it wasn't as dusty.

Trap lots of dust but I think a dryflow filter is a better option

go with a trueflow its a foam filter

Does Amsoil make one for your application? I like the one I ended up with... I guess you could mod your 3.4 intake like I did. Pretty easy to do, and cheap. :banger:

The Amsoil uses no oil. If you go with a filter that does use oil, be sure not to use to much or that can be sucked through and cause havoc with some of your sensors.

I have always had a K&N on my 4Runner, it works fine, I use that pre-charger as well in the Volant intake setup.

I have had no problems.

as long as you clean your K&N filter more often than most people seem to, i do mine every 6 months unless i went through alot of dust then i do it way more often. but i notice a better MPG and maybe slight power but i dought it. after my experiance with K&N you will not catch me dead with anything else unless TRD makes a cleanable filter for my 3.0

JUST CLEAN YOUR K&N ALOT AND YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING.
