wheels question

Will a 157 with5.5 backspacing wheel fit on my 1980 2wd toyota pickup with no issue

No - the maximum backspacing you can have is 3.65" for a 4WD and I'm pretty sure 4.75" for a 2WD. You'll need at least 3/4" spacers to fit those. You can double check by putting a straight edge across the wheel mounting surface on the rotors and measuring back to the closest steering and suspension component.

Wow, this truly is the best Toyota forum...for someone to respond with information about backspacing/offset for a 1980 pickup is amazing. Gotta love Yotatech baby!
