Hello again my old friend

I've come to talk to you again.

Used to frequent this board years ago. Built an 85 runner among other vehicles. Had some health problems and complications. Got out of the hobby. Gave the 85 runner to one of the Jr Fusterclucks. He 'helped' me build it back in the day. We have been working on it together recently. I still have an 83 pickup, 98 runner, 00 Tundra and 07 FJ Cruiser. While my attention strayed, my heart never did. Good to see some of the old names around........

Wait! What? Who's this again??? Do we know you?

The work you did on the 85 was impressive. Anything in the works this go 'round?

Thanks y'all! We got runner to fire up today. She had been sitting for the past 6 years. Still looks great, but needed a new clutch and some knick knacks. We put a Wabfab hydro assist steering box on too. When a vehicle sits that long, the fuel system gets fairly gummed up. We pulled the tank apart and found sludge and varnish as well as some rusty deposits. It's a miracle we got enough fuel and pressure to start up. Anyway, this Jr Fustercluck has wanted this runner since he was 13. He was just afrais to ask until last month. I think it stunned him when I agreed so quickly. It should go to someone who will enjoy it. I did a lot to that rig. There is always more that can be done though.....hahaha.

At the risk of excluding Dropzone and Terry, it is especially gratifying to see you still around, Habanero. I always enjoyed your posts.
