Hello, my name is Sal and I live in California. I'm new to this forum, and I have so many question. I hope I'm using this thread correctly. I started to restore my dads old 1977 Hilux (Mini Pickup), ill post some pictures. I have it running good, however, trying to find information has proven to be difficult for me. Hopefully you guys can help me out, not sure how it works, so Im just gonna list a bunch of questions. If anyone can answer them it would be much appreciated.

1. Whats the best place/website to buy parts?
2. Where should I start with the remodel? (make engine prestine, body work, or re-do interior)
3. With a stock suspension, what are the best size tires (any recommendations larger vs smaller/low profile)?
4. Where can I find the stock air filter housing? (I think its cause a loud rattling/vibrating noise at high RMP's)
5. Is it possible to remove rust from the front chrome bumper or get it chrome dipped? (if not anyone know where i can get a new one)?
6. What thread size?/diameter 5 speed shift knob fits? (I have heard mixed reviews between 12x1.25 & 3/8-16)?

Okay that pretty much everything I have been looking for since I got the truck.
