be aware of what wheels you run too, my 15" modular steels will not go on after moving the caliper to the outside of the lugs. My truck was a JDM Surf (3.0l TD Auto) and has the same calipers as the V6's over there.
some 15" alloys are ok with some clearancing on the caliper, its just the deep tyre well on the steelys that interferes.

[QUOTE=Yoda;51178027]The new IFS wheel hub will fit right on the 85 spindle quote] have my ifs hub on my 85 spindle, just wondering do you guys only run one 54mm nut on the spindle? Cause there's not quite enough thread sticking out for two and the washer in between.

[QUOTE=ethanp123;52011216]Not running both nuts and the washer is extremely dangerous. On pass side, rolling forward would tend to tigthen the nut, but driver side it would tend to loosen that nut up. Without the lock nut, you could end up losing a wheel on the road.

[QUOTE=SCToy;52011224]I realize that, should the ifs hub go onto the spindle far enough to allow for two nuts? Because mine doesn't seem to allow me enough room.

ok i have a question when you do this what do you do with the axles. do the axles still stick out enough to put the hub back on or what it seems like if they got widened the axles would be inside the hub instead of sticking out to put the locking hub back on probably stupid but just need this clarified

I cant remember if that combo had been done or not....If it has, it might need to space the caliper back a bit or something like that... i personal would rather lathe/grind down the hubs to fit the taco rotor rather than space the caliper itself. Lots of people been using the taco rotor setup

you don't have to drill out the threads on your knuckles. What I did with mine is, put the stock bolts in the caliper then put the caliper on the rotor and slide the whole thing on the spindle. then tighten the bolts down. its going to take a little longer to take those bolts off now though.

ifs hubs on sfa
so do I have to use lc rotors or can I use the stock ifs hubs b/c I have a whole parts rig with ifs and don't want to have to buy anything. I know it said somewhere that ifs hubs have 6 holes but need 8. but doesn't the lc rotor take drilling so why not drill the ifs rotors?
