I'm probably the worst off here. I have the XREAS cross linked shocks (which means you have to remove the whole system to replace the shocks. On top of that I only have a Daystar spacer lift, spacers do not exactly help articulation :(

So I'm basically stock with the factory XREAS system and Daystar spacers. To test I removed the front swaybar (if anybody knows how to make a disconnect system for it let me know, trust me 3rd Gen stuff wont work on the front). I found that I dont like the way the 4R handles without the swaybar, way too much lean in the front (compared to almost none with swaybar in, XREAS helps a lot).

To determine a starting point I measured from the top of the wheel to the fender. So at least I will know what I gain/loose going forward.

Measurements:
Front COmpressed 17" Extended 25" 8" travel
Rear COmpressed 15" Extended 28" 13" travel

For interest sake Firstoy was there as well with front swaybar intact, with his 4th Gen with XReas in exactly the same spoy he got little over 5" front travel. Maybe the weight of the V8 helps, but defintely seems like the swaybar limits travel in the front by 3" or so.

Enough blah blah here are some pics

Solid Fronts are the only way to flex IMHO. I used to have a 1980 Pickup that would out-flex my 2000 Taco any day. I'm still bitter about having to sell that old tank so I don't wheel as much any more  Nothing compares to a solid.

Anthony your truck is one of my favorites...you will need to come down south next time we make a desert run so I can see that bad boy in action.

Agreed. Are you running coils in the rear still? Everyone seems to swap completely to leaf springs when they do the SAS. I would think a coilover in front with the link system in rear would be the way. Regardless.....Killer rig.

EDIT: Looked again I see the rear coils...sweet.
